Winter Wellness Workshop
Magazzino Italian Art Foundation and Ascend Yoga Studio in Cold Spring partnered to present an afternoon of yoga, art, and self-restoration as part of Magazzino’s annual Winter Wellness Workshop. Led by yoga therapist, teacher, and author Jillian Pransky, participants were revitalized by this winter renewal yoga practice that artfully wove together mindfulness with slow-flow vinyasa and deep relaxation, and emphasized internal observation and rhythmic breathing. The program took place in Magazzino’s galleries, offering participants a tranquil and inspiring space to relax their mind and body.
Each participant received a copy of Jillian Pransky’s new book, Deep Listening.
Tickets were available for purchase on Eventbrite.
Magazzino’s galleries were open to ticket holders from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
The workshop began promptly at 3:30 p.m. and was open to participants at all levels.
Mats were provided. Props and blanket could be brought or purchased when selecting your ticket.
For guests traveling to Magazzino via Metro-North, the 1:45 p.m. train departing from Grand Central Terminal and arriving at Cold Spring Station at 3:08 p.m., was recommended. Shuttles ran between Magazzino and Cold Spring Station before and after the event.
