Cristian Chironi My house is a Le Corbusier (Villa Baizeau)
March 26, 2026

The seventh chapter of Cristian Chironi’s multi-year project My house Is a Le Corbusier (Villa Baizeau) unfolds in Tunis over more than two months of residency (22 January – 5 April 2026) at La Boîte – Centre d’Art & d’Architecture, in the Medina. Choosing the Medina as a temporary living space allows the artist to engage with the local culture and contemporary housing challenges, transforming the city into a perceptual and narrative laboratory.
The Tunisian chapter of Chironi’s project is structured as a system of interdisciplinary interventions: the residency in the Medina as a temporary living space and engagement with the local culture and contemporary housing challenges; the urban traversal performances (24 and 25 March 2026); the production of visual and textual materials; a theoretical deep dive during a public meeting on 2 April 2026 at the École Nationale d’Architecture & Urbanisme (ENAU); the opening of the exhibition My house Is a Le Corbusier (Villa Baizeau) on 3 April 2026 at La Boîte – Centre d’Art & d’Architecture, as the exhibition outcome of the process; and the publication of a book that collects and reflects on the experience.
