A video of the Olnick Spanu glass collection.

This series provided an overview of the Olnick Spanu glass collection, starting with a presentation of Murano Glass: Olnick Spanu Collection, a film by Anton Giulio and Siretta Onofri. The film presented the Murano glass tradition with footage of glass production in the storied factories of Venice and interviews with Nancy Olnick, Giorgio Spanu, and Ferruccio Franzoia, who collaborated with Carlo Scarpa. This screening was accompanied by images of rare works in the Olnick Spanu collection and a Q&A on Instagram Live with Magazzino Italian Art Co-founders Nancy Olnick and Giorgio Spanu and Co-directors of Glass Past New York, Sara Blumberg and Jim Oliveira.

About Sara Blumber and Jim Oliveira
