Please donate now to advance scholarship and public appreciation for postwar and contemporary Italian art.
With your support Magazzino has rapidly expanded in the past five years, growing our curatorial, research, and public programs. Our donors make it possible to:
Curate ambitious on-site exhibitions, including artwork that has never been shown in US institutions before
Support up and coming contemporary Italian artists
Fund acquisitions for our Research Center library, including rare books and archival materials
Advance scholarship on Italian art through the Scholar-in-Residence program, which provides housing, a stipend, and access to the Research Center for scholars to pursue independent projects
Provide educational programs and internships for the local community, including a scholarship for high school students in Putnam County
Host public events including an annual spring lecture series, beloved Cinema in Piazza film viewings, and study day symposia that explore an artist’s work in depth
Act as a community hub and cultural resource for the Hudson Valley
Publish high-quality and extensively researched exhibition catalogs featuring essays and photos
To continue to widen our reach and to deepen the scope of our impact, Magazzino is expanding our facilities with the building of a new pavilion on our grounds.

This additional space, the Robert Olnick Pavilion, is slated to open in 2023 and will provide a platform for our programming to flourish, with new exhibition space, an Education Center, shop and restaurant.
