Laura Frencia

Exhibition and Program Coordinator

Laura Frencia is the Exhibition and Program Coordinator at Magazzino Italian Art. She is responsible for managing the exhibitions and events production.

Laura has extensive experience in organizing and planning contemporary art exhibitions gained in art institutions where she coordinated the production of solo and group shows, new commissioned works, and performances. She also collaborated as editorial coordinator for catalogues and artist monographies. She worked at Art for the World, NGO based in Geneva, presenting exhibitions in museums and foundations such as Hangar Bicocca in Milan, mac in Marseille, SESC in Sao Paulo, Thessaloniki and Venice Biennale. She later worked as Project Manager at the Fondazione Furla in Milan. In early 2022 she moved to New York from Turin, the heart of Arte Povera, where she collaborated with the Fondazione Giulio e Anna Paolini and the contemporary art fair Artissima.

She graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico in Turin, and obtained a Master in Contemporary Art Curatorial Studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, and a Certificate in Curating, Museums and Galleries at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London.
